dead camera

I want to scream so loud that Barrack Obama, the US President, will hear it! Aaarrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!

My Sony Digi Cam for 3 years had finally bid her last farewell…. huhuhuh

I hate it! I’m getting crazy on how I am going to have a new one! I haven’t graduated college yet, so that makes me jobless! And my allowance is not enough! I have already calculated my savings and it turned out that if I am going to save 300 per week, it will take me like 5 to 6 months! I hate it so much!!!

That Camera is my very first Digi Cam which I loved so much! I wanted to cry it out but I might look so stupid cryin’ over a cam! We bought that cam for my birthday and it was like 29k that time and three years is not worth it!

How am I going to earn money while studying?! I really want to have a new one! I Hate it, I hate it, I hate it so much! I need to have a business. A kind of business that will speed up my savings so that I can buy a new one. Oooohhh I hate it, really!

If only winning a lottery is so easy, or if… Aaaahhh! I’m really crazy over that! The future moments! aaaahhh! How am I going to capture those!? Aaahhhh! crazy crazy crazeeeeeee!!!

Julie/Julia's "how to boil an egg"

Have you seen the adapted-from-a-true-story movie Julie and Julia which starred Meryl Streep and Amy Adams?

From an internet review, the synopsis of the movie goes like this...

The synopsis for Julie & Julia looks something like this: “The film follows Powell, a government employee who decides to cook her way through legendary cook Julia Child’s classic cookbook, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” in one year’s time out of her small Queens kitchen. Powell blogs her daily experiences, gaining a loyal following along the way.”

It is only in this movie that I learned how to boil and egg. So far I think this is the only quick recipe that was shown in the movie that's why I tried to boil an egg according to it. Another reason why I tried to boil an egg is that i was wondering if it does really taste like butter as what Julie Powell says on the movie.

After a few tries, I came to finish a boiled egg (without its shell) out of simmering water. Julie and Julia said that the eggs must be fresh. So I finished boiling an egg. My first try was not really boiled but it was half boiled because the yolk wasn't still cooked, but I thought that it is okay since my brothers like half cooked yolk in sunny side up dishes. My latest attempt was 3/4 cooked yolk. But i'm already getting the "butter" taste.

While I was thinking, boiling an egg in simmered water is better compared to cooking it sunny side up with oil.. Coz' the look of the egg when boiled in simmering water is the same as when you cook an egg sunny side up. It does not have oil, just water. So I think the cholesterol you can get is less.

Try to watch the movie guys! And you'll be inspired to make some French dishes, too! Especially to housewives or to anyone who loves to cook.

Inspired bu the movie Ratatouille, according to chef Gusteau, "Anyone can Cook! ;p
Enjoy cooking everyone! ;p

AVATAR

I have just watched AVATAR (Super late!) and IT IS AMAZING! The story was great and just a hypothesis, the story of Avatar is just like how Christopher Columbus attacked(was that the word?) no, colonized America. Right? I mean, it was kinda like that. The Na'vis were the Indians.

I can't get over with it! So to make my day interesting, I watched it again! Hah! I'm becoming addicted to watching Avatar. I wonder in a couple of decades, will there be another planet that has life like those in Avatar? We'll never know!

Trivia: Our sun's life is 10 billion years and it already has come up to 5 billion years. So this means, the sun only have 5 billions year more before it's destruction.

I got that trivia from our Natural Science Class last sem and it made me think of the things like the movie Avatar. :) That's it for now!

Live life to its fullest! You can make your own History! :)

BEWARE!

I really don't understand why people couldn't get a room. I mean, I saw a 2 cars going up and down for two consecutive days. I may think maliciously but hey! I know I'm thinking right!

The first car, which is a new black D-max (A pick-up type of car) that was parked outside our gymnasium. Our car was parked beside theirs and I was left in car, answering some crossword puzzles when suddenly, I noticed that car bouncing up and down. At first, I thought I was going paranoid because of too much horror movies. So, I stared at the car, shivering. Suddenly, the car stopped bouncing. And there was like a hand that's signaling to "stop staring!", "Mind your own business!" or "Go away!" kind of signal. So, it was there! I thought that they maybe doing something fishy. And I was like, "Yuck!" and "Eeewww!" Because it was 5 in the afternoon and the place where they parked seem to have lots of people and other Public Utility Jeeps and other vehicles passing by and it was super traffic! Too bad I wasn't able to video it. It would have been a blast on Youtube! (Evil! Hahaha!) But it was really growwwss!

The next day, it was raining. Me and my boyfriend was waiting for our ride at some place near a Appliance Center Building when suddenly, we saw this yellow, tinted multicab parked just 10 inches from where we were standing. Suddenly, again, it bounced up and down. And I was like, "Not again! Why do people couldn't really get a room!?" Again, maliciously thinking, I said that!

It was really a hell of experience because its very "awful" for their part. I got the plate number of the second car but I think it would be very harsh to announce here since this is a very public place. Might as well "mind my own business" and continue with what I have installed for the day!

Please, whoever you guys are, get a room! There might be kids that would pass by your car. It's not a good example. Tsk!

MY HOTEL (DAVAO)

Okay so, I'm going to blog about something. Particularly a Hotel in Davao City, Philippines that my mom checked into when she was in Davao. Well it's like this. MY HOTEL, the name of the Hotel that I'm blogging about, and it's new. It says in their flyers that there is a Wi-Fi (a wireless internet connection) in every room and when my mom turned on her laptop, it couldn't find any connection. So, it's like the Hotel is promoting something that is not there. It's like a scam so you can check in at their Hotel. The next issue that my mom is pissed about is their service. My mom asked for tap/top water (not the Mineral or Distilled typed of water) in a pitcher because she knew that the water in Davao is good in a way that it doesn't taste nasty and since she is trying to have less expense, but they didn't gave her water. They didn't reasoned out that it might cause health problems but instead, they said that she should buy mineral water so that the Hotel can benefit from it (Earn something from it). So my mom went like "What?!".

When she got back, she said that she is so pissed and even said that she's not going stay in that hotel anymore.

People, money! It's really an issue today. No matter how small or how big it is. Money, money, money! Some Filipinos are already forgetting the "hospitality" that we have. Tsk tsk tsk!!! Too bad...

I feel sorry for them, really. Because I know there'll be a lot of customers complaining with regards to their Features/Service/whatever!
